Moonshard Ring Poems¶
An ancient anthology of poems about the Moon Essence Cross
The Ancient Ballad¶
The ancient silver ring sleeps within the dust, Engraved with stars and the crescent's lament. When the purple moonshade climbs the celestial dais, The shackles of the curse shall open for thee.
The pain of flesh is the altar of ascension, The overflowing radiance surges from the soul. Not just form — even fate is rewritten, Becoming the beast that wanders at will.
But hear, within the wind, a whisper of solitude, The walker's life burns down like kindling. The price of power, a shadow none can shed, Will at last in ember become a single sigh.
The Hidden Maxim¶
Moon-marrow, silver-bone, Beneath the purple radiance, form and shadow stand alone. Break the thousand-locks of mortal flesh, Burn the broken body to dust through all the ages. Power is given, life is paid in full, Ask not where the road home lies. Only the cold frost congealing on jade-green blood, Only a long sigh filling the desolate path.
Item Description Verse¶
A ring forged of the moon's very essence, Bearing the strings of curse and fate. If you wish to shatter the cage of form, You must resolve to make the sacrifice.
