Ⅰ. Experimental Summary¶
This experiment was intended to study whether newly-created beings could undergo further modification.
Ⅱ. Materials¶
- Subject #13: A human exhibiting moderate red-fox-form mutation
- Moondust Pure Crystal: To study whether further curse modification was possible
- Experimental Catalyst: To study whether the curse progression could be accelerated
- Linking Collar — Test Model: To study whether normal control was possible

Purple Moon: variable uncontrolled, but a required condition.
Ⅳ. Procedure¶
- Restrain the subject at the center of the moonlight well
- Force the subject to consume the Experimental Catalyst
- After transformation, fit the subject with the Linking Collar
- Have the subject consume the Moondust Pure Crystal
Ⅴ. Results¶

Its body enlarged, and the blue flames it emitted caused both burns and frostbite simultaneously (minimum temperature recorded: -10°C). After roughly half a minute of rampage, it collapsed and died. Dissection revealed a ruptured energy-storage organ, with internal organs both scorched and frozen |
Ⅶ. Analysis¶
Similar to previous results, the subject died after consuming the Moondust Pure Crystal. Extensive experimentation indicates that Familiar Red Foxes cannot undergo further deep modification, having reached the upper limit of curse tolerance.
Ⅷ. Recommendation¶
Cease further development of Familiar enhancement research. The damage caused by each experiment has cost the Marauders multiple key researchers. Even if one could successfully cause a Familiar to consume the Moondust Pure Crystal and evolve, there is an overwhelming probability of producing an uncontrollable berserk beast.

Ⅰ. Experimental Summary¶
This experiment was intended to investigate the activation conditions of the ancient relic the "Moon Essence Cross" under specific environments, and its capacity to intervene in the form of a cursed host.

- Subject #73: A human exhibiting permanent wolf-form mutation
- Moon Essence Cross: An intact sample recovered from the ruins

Ⅲ. Environment¶
Artificially simulated Purple Moon environment (85% fidelity); in the late stages, real Purple Moon illumination was introduced.
Ⅳ. Procedure¶
- Perform a basic physical examination of the subject and record curse erosion level
- Place the Moon Essence Cross around the subject's neck
- Gradually increase the intensity of simulated Purple Moon illumination, introducing real moonlight at the critical point
- Observe the subject's form changes and vital signs

Ⅶ. Analysis¶
The Moon Essence Cross does possess the ability to break the shackles of cursed forms, granting the host power far exceeding the norm. However, its energy source is not external free spiritual energy, but directly drawn from the user's life essence.
The ancient record stating "the walker's life is its kindling" is not a metaphor, but a statement of fact.
Until an alternative energy source or a means to reduce the consumption is found, any act of wearing it is equivalent to suicide.
Ⅷ. Recommendation¶
Seal the Moon Essence Cross within the high-risk containment zone. It is recommended that subsequent research direction shift toward using external charging to replace life-force consumption, or seek a special constitution capable of withstanding such consumption. Any unauthorized contact is forbidden.
